Our unit/area Magnet Champions are an essential part of CMC’s success.  The champions support the Magnet culture by ensuring communication of the Magnet philosophy to all of nursing.

Each area carefully selects several its champions. The champion’s role includes:

• Knowledge of Magnet Status.
• Knowledge of the benefits of our Magnet Culture.
• Collaboration with other champions, area manager and Magnet steering committee resource to develop communication and share of information.
• Facilitation of the communication of Magnet program and CMC Magnet culture and examples by way of bulletin boards, posters, one-to-one interactions, staff meetings, etc.
