Celebrating Our Profession

Week of the Nurse will be celebrated May 4-10, 2008 with activities across our organization. This time is set aside to recognize the extraordinary contributions of nurses who provide compassionate and committed care both within Carilion and to the communities we serve.

This year, the Week of the Nurse will be celebrated with activities such as ice cream and breakfast goodies, spa days and awards ceremonies during which the recipients of the Healthcare with a Human Touch Award, Thomas L. Robertson Honorary Nursing Education Award, JoAnn Brinkman Nursing Scholarship and Human Resources Development Seay Education Scholarship will be honored.
