Q. Can I submit information to be included on the site?
A. Yes. We want to include information on as many programs offered by Carilion as possible. To have your information considered for the site, contact the HR Service Center via GroupWise or e-mail at hrservicecenter@carilion.com or by phone at 983-3600 (33600) or 1-800-599-2537 and provide detailed information about your program. After submission, you may be contacted if we need more information.
Q. How do I find out more about a specific program being offered?
A. Each listing includes information, such as phone numbers of web links, on how to learn more about specific offerings. Please use the contact information provided for the program you're interested in.
Q. Is there a fee to participate in the programs listed on the website?
A. Maybe. Some programs listed have fees, and many are provided at no charge. Please contact the program you're interested in directly for information on cost.
Q. Am I required to participate in programs?
A. No. We believe in the value of participating in wellness programs, and this site is provided for informational purposes. You and your family members are encouraged to participate in any programs that you're eligible for.
Q. Can my family members participate in programs?
A. For many of the programs, yes. Most programs are open to the general public so your family members would be eligible.
Q. I don't have time to participate in wellness classes, but I want to be healthier. What can I do?
A. Wellness is a state of mind and an individual decision. You must decide which activities will meet your needs. Contact your healthcare provider prior to beginning any type of program and use the resources available to you through Carilion to find the best fit.
