Schedules

During our Spring Recognition activities, we reward the outstanding service you provide every day. One way we do this is by inviting you to attend our Spring Recognition cookouts, held at facilities organization-wide. On this page, you will find a schedule of the cookouts, as well as meals served to our night shift employees. Please mark your calendars to join us for the celebration!

Remember that weather and other factors may affect these schedules.

Bedford Memorial Hospital

Day Meal:
• Thursday, May 15
• 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Service-award recipients will be recognized at noon.

Night Meal:
• Midnight to 1 a.m. (Friday a.m.)

 
Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital

Day Meal:
• Wednesday, May 14
• 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Service-award recipients will be recognized at 2 p.m.

Night Meals:
• 5 to 6 p.m.
• 2 to 3 a.m. (Thursday a.m.)

 
Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital

Day Meal:
• Thursday, May 15
• 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Service-award recipients will be recognized at 1 p.m.

Night Meals:
• 5 to 6:15 p.m.
• 11 p.m. to midnight

 
Carilion New River Valley Medical Center

Day Meal:
• Friday, June 13
• 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Service awards will be handed out on Friday, May 16 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Fireside Conference Rooms. Please note that the cookout will be held in June, but the awards ceremony will take place in May.

Night Meals:
• 5 to 6:30 p.m.
• 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. (Saturday a.m.)

 
Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital

Day Meal:
• Wednesday, May 14
• 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Service-award recipients will be recognized at 1 p.m.

Night Meal:
• Midnight to 1 a.m. (Thursday a.m.)

 
Roanoke-based Facilities

Day Meal:
• Thursday, May 15
• 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• At Roanoke Parks and Recreation Athletic Field, 210 Reserve Ave., Roanoke, Va. 24016

Service-award recipients will be recognized at the following times:

  • 11 a.m.: Five-years service awards (Five-year recipients will be recognized as a group. Certificates can be picked up at the service awards tent.)
  • 11:30 a.m.: 30+ years service awards.
  • Noon: Hand-in-Hand for Health awards.
  • 1 p.m.: 20- and 25-years service awards.
  • 2 p.m.: 10- and 15-years service awards.

Night Meals:
• 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. (Friday a.m.) at CRMH
• 11 p.m. to midnight (Friday a.m.) at Rehab
