The Health Science Libraries are physically located on both the CRCH and CRMH campuses. The CRCH Library is located on the 4th floor across from the main elevators. The CRMH library is located on 1 South.

After
Hour Access:
Contact the CRMH
library staff during regular hours of operation
to request key card access. Employees currently
assigned a Wiegand (parking) card will not require
an additional card, but the card must be programmed
for library access. Current cards will be activated
and newly issued cards available within 24 - 72
hours of the request.
A CHS ID card and $10 deposit are required to obtain a key card. Employees are responsible for the deposit which will be refunded when the card is returned.
Emergency library access for patient care issues may be obtained by contacting CHS Security Services at 981-7911.
Circulation
Books may be checked out during staffed hours for one month. Carilion photo ID badge is required. If library materials are lost or not returned, the patron will reimburse the library for the cost of the material.
Computers
There
are nine computers at the CRMH library and five
at the CRCH library available for use by all Carilion
staff. Each computer has Intranet/Internet access,
Microsoft office, Logician and UVA and VCOM e-mail
access. Printing is available from all computers
except for Logician. All users of are required
to comply with Carilion's Internet
Use Policy .
