Student Loan Repayment Plan

Student loans are a fact of life for an increasing number of students. Carilion can help ease the pressure associated with student loans. The Carilion Health System Federal Credit Union will pay off student loans for eligible employees, excluding physicians, and refinance the amount at a lower percentage rate. To allow for convenient repayment, the Credit Union will automatically payroll deduct each pay period. Student loans will be refinanced on a first-come, first-serve basis based on available funds. Carilion is partnering with the Credit Union to offer this service, and a budget has been established to fund this benefit for our employees.
