Better Ways Suggestion.
We know that you take pride in
the work that you do, and that you look for ways
to serve our communities better. Over the years,
you and your coworkers have made many suggestions
that have helped us reduce costs, improve quality
and enhance operations in your department or area.
Since 2001, we’ve offered
a formal employee suggestion program, known as
the Savings Suggestions Program, to recognize
you for your
cost-reduction and quality-improvement ideas.
While many employees have participated in Savings
Suggestions, many employees also have submitted
great suggestions that could not be quantified.
To help encourage you to continue finding better
ways to improve Carilion, we’re expanding
our employee suggestion program to include recognition
for those solutions that may positively affect
your department, yet not be directly correlated
to reducing costs. In addition, we’re renaming
the program Finding Better Ways to be
aligned with what we do every day: find better
ways to serve our communities. The new program
will be effective April 1, 2006. Click the links
