Making Changes to Your Benefits
For most benefits, you may make changes during
the year only when you experience a qualifying
event. Any change you make must be consistent with your qualifying event. If you experience a qualifying event, you must make benefits changes within 31 days of the qualifying event and provide the required documentation supporting the event. To make changes to your benefits, click here to go to My Total Access.
For medical and dental changes, a qualifying event allows you to change your benefit coverage level. For example, you may change from Employee Only to Family medical coverage during the year. However, you cannot switch between plans, such as HMO1 to HMO2. |
